Duties Include:
- Receives new and proposed livestock market tariffs.
- Prepares letters transmitting stockyard jurisdictional questionnaires to the owners or operators of newly constructed or non-posted stockyards, requesting full disclosure of operations and facilities.
- Reviews, records, and maintains records of applications of registration, inquiry forms, bonds, trust fund agreements, letters of credit, and corresponding trust agreements.
- Prepares letters of acknowledgment, notifications, annual report forms, written guidance, and other official communication sent to surety companies, banks, and state agencies.
