Duties Include:

Serves as a top-level scientist and regulatory policy analyst responsible for coordinating pesticide and pest management policy within USDA.
Provides the Chief Economist and Secretary with scientific, technological and policy input and advice on pesticide and pest management issues and the impact of pesticide regulation on production agriculture.
Provides leadership in the direction, strategic planning, implementation, communication and coordination of pesticide and pest management programs.
