Growing Potential: Voices from the 11th Annual Native Youth in Agriculture Summit
Each summer, the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative (IFAI) hosts a transformative event that brings together Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian youth from across Indian Country. The 11th Annual Native Youth in Agriculture Leadership Summit, held at the University of Arkansas, continued this powerful tradition—offering a week of immersive learning, leadership development, and cultural connection.
This year’s theme, “Grow Your Potential,” encouraged participants to explore the many ways they can lead in food and agriculture. Through specialized tracks, hands-on workshops, and mentorship from professionals, students ages 18–24 gained tools to thrive in their communities and careers.
