The Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative is gathering feedback from across Indian Country to help us develop a Model Food and Agriculture Code.

We need your feedback to guide the project toward developing the sections of the code that will address the most pressing needs in your community.

Please take a few moments to answer the questions on our Survey Monkey page.

If you have a mobile device with a QR code reader, then scan the code below:

The project serves as a resource for tribal governments to provide model codes in food and agriculture for review, adoption and implementation.  These codes will support and facilitate agriculture production, food systems improvement and health outcomes improvement in Indian Country.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to join one of our regional roundtables! Send us an email at ifai.uark@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

We are grateful to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community through their “Seeds of Native Health” campaign, MAZON:  A Jewish Response to HungerAgua Fund and the W. K. Kellogg Foundation for their generous support of the Project.
